[Once he says that a seven petal shield appears. Archer channels as much energy as he can into it, blocking the Noble Phantasms launched. At the same time the pierced arm he uses for them is damaged even further.]

But as soon as only one petal is left Archer kicks off the ground and jumps up to the roof of the house across from Gil, doing his best to avoid the line of fire. A couple of the swords do get him in the shoulder and lower abdomen, but he ignores them. He then summons the bow he got from the Post Office today.]



[As he says that Caladbolg II appears, and Archer quickly aims it at Gilgamesh.]

[And shooting it off straight for Goldie.]

[Way to make one of my other noble phantasms look like SHIT. Still, he's well aware of the high rank and type of weapon that it is. So he counters with a suitable weapon, Brionac - The Five Roaring Stars. It looks exactly like Gae Bolg but a glowing white and, in fact, is its predecessor. With an A+ rank and ability to level entire city blocks in a violent explosion of energy and light, it makes a worthy counter. With a harsh toss, he whips it up at the incoming sword. It gathers light quickly on its flight and EXPLODES on impact with the spiral sword.]

[As the explosion occurs Archer is already summoning his next attack. At this rate he's sure that he's going to fall over after this is over. But frankly, taking down Gilgamesh if only for a day, is more important.]



[As he launches the sword it glows red and becomes a magic bullet, moving right towards Gilgamesh at mach 10 speed.]

[He most certainly wasn't Saber so deflecting was out of the picture. So instead, if he was going down, Archer was too. A massive scythe appeared in his hands and he swung it with all his disdain. The blade Suriyothai cut through dimensions and even though the distance between the two was great, it crossed it as if Archer was right there. The entire shaft was lodged in hammer space as the handle stayed in Gil's hand and the blade approached from Archer's left side.

A last ditch attack as Hrunting punched through his gut. It's too bad he wasted Aegis so early.]

ARCHEEEEEEEEER!!!

[He has no time to dodge - he attempts to fire another shot of Hrunting, but the scythe makes contact with him before he has the chance and the shot fails to launch off. Because Archer isn't as melodramatic as Gilgamesh he doesn't yell out Goldie's name, but rather screams out in agony as the scythe makes contact with his side, crumbling down to his knees on the roof and forcing out blood from his mouth.

But Hrunting worked and that's all he needs for now.]

He's also hacking up blood but also holding in his guts. How gross. But it takes more to kill a Servant than that....and anything he did to Archer. Since he can't fight back for the moment, he's only got one other option.]

...Well, as to be expected for a Servant who lives off of it, she supposed. Either way, it really shouldn't take long before his wounds fully close.]

I saw some, including the end. I merely stayed out of sight. Is that good? [She looks a bit disappointed a bit scornful, but otherwise, she can deal with you being okay for the time being.]

I'm glad. He might have tried to attack you if you intervened. What kind of Servant would I be if I couldn't protect my Master?

Don't be silly. I may only know of Heaven's Feel from the reports stored within the Church, but please don't take me for an amateur either. I'm well aware that a Servant is far stronger than a Master: I would be a bad one myself, if I were to foolishly step in the way of something clearly beyond my league.

Would it be easier if you fade back to your spiritual form, for the time being?

There's no need, but you're welcome. If you're looking to finish him again though, you should at least be better prepared. Like let me find his Master, for one, and tell me more about Gilgamesh's abilities so that we can strategize accordingly together.

[She remarks neutrally, but if he's observant, he may be able to tell that she seems to be glossing over something... or well, something's just off and not quite right. I don't need to, but it helps for keeping up energy. [He ignores the first part, even if he gets that feeling. Rather not test his luck right now, because Gilgamesh likely recovers at a quicker rate than he does.
